With a total of 8000 miles being covered, the route will take us through 18 countries in 50 days. From the Autobahn’s of Germany to the mountain roads of Azerbaijan, our trusty vehicle will be tested to its limits, as will our navigation and limited mechanical know-how.

From Ben’s home in South Shropshire, we will travel to Southampton to pay a visit to Joe’s family before leaving for the Netherlands. The ferry departs from Harwich and arrives in Hook of Holland, Netherlands where we begin the long journey East through Europe and into Russia. Entering the Middle East we will visit the Azerbaijan capital, Baku; which symbolises the halfway point, and most Easterly point, of the trip. From here the Westbound leg of the trip will begin - passing through Georgia and Turkey towards Bulgaria. From Bulgaria we will pick our way through South East Europe, ending up in France where we cross from Calais to Dover before returning home.
